Selected plants from a seed collection by Jim Archibald. This wonderful species comes from the Caucasus, where it is found in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Dagestan. There it grows on rocky slopes in oak, hornbeam or beech forests. This stately species grows up to 60 cm high and impresses with its yellow colored flowers and the pretty round leaves on double 3-part petioles, which turn reddish in late summer. Only a few!
